Trotz guter Quoten im letzten Jahr verzichtet ProSieben in dieses Mal auf die große TV total-Silvestergala. Stattdessen will man mit Hollywood-Blockbustern punkten. Ein TV total Best-Of wird es allerdings trotzdem geben.

Im letzten Jahr waren die Quoten der TV total-Silvestergala gar nicht schlecht. Mit 13,3 Prozent in der werberelevanten Zielgruppe verabschiedete man sich aus dem Jahr 2008. Umso überraschender ist es, dass es in diesem Jahr keine Silvestergala geben wird. Dabei gehörte TV total fast schon so zu Silvester wie "Dinner for One" und Bleigießen.

Stattdessen setzt man in München auf die Spielfilme "Das fünfte Element" und "Mercenary" (Deutschland-Premiere).

Auf ein "Best-Of" des vergangen Jahres müssen die TV total Fans allerdings nicht verzichten. Schon am 21. Dezember 2009 um 20:15 Uhr wird es eine Sondersendung geben, in der Stefan Raab die lustigsten Momente des Jahres noch einmal Revue passieren lässt.
